Pulling together color concepts is fun, challenging and time consuming. But, where to begin, where to begin? Well, choose ONE thing that you absolutely love and work around that until all the pieces pull together beautifully. Remember, you need to be flexible and be willing to change direction here and there.
With the “Beachy Cottage” we stayed focused with blues and greens in the lighter tones. I always drew the island as dark with light floors, white cabinetry, light countertops, light walls and we stayed true to that vision. The passion and inspiration came from the Ann Sacks backsplash tile as a basis. This photo shows a custom C2 Color that A&M Paint supplied the lacquer to Advanced Cabinets for the island base that will work with this tile beautifully. The granite is Costa Smerelda, honed. It is beautiful, unique and works amazing with the base and tile.
From the lighting to paint to tile and cabinetry, all the pieces work together to dance and compliment each other. Stay tuned form the final photos!
