At the Amy Dutton Home Showroom and Studio we design and sell kitchen cabinetry. I started providing this service about a year ago because I was continually discouraged and frustrated by local cabinet shops over-priced, low-quality cabinetry that consistently had expensive errors.
There is a sincere and strict schedule to kitchen design, if the cabinetry ordered has errors, it will put the entire project off by as much as weeks
DESIGN: I use to simply layout the windows, door and three major appliances. But my clients feel comfortable with working with me by the time we get to kitchens so we would finalize the layout of the kitchens and exhaust all design details from layout to materials. We define work flow, entertaining spaces and define lighting layout.
TWO OPTIONS OF PURCHASING CABINETRY:
I offer two ways of purchasing cabinetry through the showroom. However, if you want me to simply design the space and purchase the cabinets on your own, that it absolutely fine to do independently.
- SEMI-CUSTOM: These quality semi-custom cabinets are all wood, high-quality with insert options and quality hardware. While custom finishes are available, there are over 500 stock finishes offered. We offer inset to overlay doors and drawer’s options.
- CUSTOM: I work with a team of local cabinet makers to provide the custom option of cabinetry. While this option is a bit more expensive than the semi-custom option, sometimes it is appropriate in order to get the perfect kitchen for you.
