Looking Back at 2018: Before & After

Now that 2019 has begun, let’s take a glimpse back at 2018 with a Before & After…

Before renovation, this small ocean cottage needed additional living space square footage as well as a more welcoming entry and hopes to improve water views from every room. We were able to accomplish this with a new second floor master en-suite with deck acting as a covered entry and an addition off the back to create an open interior concept.

The Must-Haves:

A beautiful curb appeal with gardens that bloom all season, added light and views with an amazing kitchen were the must-haves on this project. With nine sub-zero | wolf appliances in the gorgeous kitchen and bar, custom cabinetry throughout, five hidden TVs, and a private second floor master suite with spectacular views (even from the bathroom sink) we were able to accomplish these must-haves.

The Elements:

This project is about layers of texture. From the white oak floors with rubio-monocoat natural finish and custom marble mosaic bathroom floors to the white oak exposed beams, there was a strong relationship between surfaces. V-match wood ceilings dance gracefully with grey barn board accent walls and blend beautifully with the custom white and bleached oak cabinetry with quartz countertops. The outside received a new chimney with cobblestone and a cupola that can be viewed out from the shower. With layers of miscanthis grasses, hydrangea trees and junipers, the gardens consistently bloom all season long. See more of this project HERE.
